Leane is able to provide a safe, comfortable, stimulating, fun and educationally orientated home-from-home, with a loosely structured day planned to meet individual children's needs and interests.
Through guided creative play, children will have the opportunity to learn about colours, shapes, numbers, letters, animals, seasons, textures, senses, etc.
After settling in, a typical day may include a walk around the local neighbourhood, free play with play-dough or colouring in, then morning tea followed by an outdoor activity, sensory play, story time or arts and crafts. After lunch, quiet time might be spent in a well resourced playroom doing jigsaws, puzzles, reading or even spent in the garden tending to the strawberries or veggies in the kids raised garden, or helping with some baking.
Outings and excursions may include visits to the local playgroup, playgrounds, library, museums, art gallery, gardens or even a stroll to the beach on a nice day.
Leane is very family orientated and has two school aged daughters and a younger son. She would welcome your child/ren into her whanau as if they were her own.
