Julie has enjoyed watching children in her home-based programme grow to be happy little learners for over 10 years and is passionate about her work as an educator.

She offers the children in her care a wide range of exciting activities and experiences in a safe and caring environment. Julie’s love of nature, creativity and Te Reo Maori is evident throughout her programme. She has a lovely garden and getting out into the fresh air is a favourite part of the day.  As well as the wonderful resources at home, Julie makes full use of community resources such as playgroups, gym, libraries and museums to challenge and encourage the children’s learning.

Julie says watching children develop successfully into first year school juniors is one of the most rewarding aspects of her teaching role.   Family-time is an important part of Julie’s life and she looks forward to making your whanau feel at home as part of her home-based programme.
