Jan-Maree is an experienced home-based educator with 17 years as an educator under her belt. She offers the children in her care a wide range of exciting activities and experiences both in her home and the wider community. Jan-Maree makes use of community resources such as playgroups, gym, playgrounds and libraries to challenge and encourage the children’s learning.
Books, storytelling and music are a valued part of Jan-Maree’s programme and feature strongly in the experiences she and the children are involved in.  
Jan-Maree runs an ‘Inquiry Day’ weekly, with another educator, which incorporates a term by term topic e.g: Countries, arts, nature or insects. It also incorporates songs and a share-time, preparing older children for school.
